Designed by both Michael Thomas Host & Tanja Hinder for a company named 'Mth Woodworking, the designers start with sections of trees ranging from 60 to 600 years old, combining them with resin plates so as to keep the beautiful rings in wood and endow them with a stylish aesthetics as well.
I love it how they have captured the history and absolute beauty that is found inside these ageing trees. The pure white table top is a great way to eliminate all distractions from focusing on the life of the particular tree. The shapes and patterns have a repetitive rhythm which is hard to ignore and why should we? why cant beauty be natural and present in all things alive..
